• Location: Tennova Clarksville - 641 Dunlop Lane, Clarksville, TN 37040. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full time; Sunday through Thursday, 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. Schedule may vary. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: Two years of prior sous chef or hospital experience preferred.
• Pay Range: $20.00 to $26.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Assist the Executive Chef in food preparation and cooking, supervise kitchen staff, and manage food service operations in the absence of the Executive Chef.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare food following recipes and standards, meeting deadlines.
• Supervise food service staff, including hiring, scheduling, training, and performance reviews.
• Store food safely, following sanitation procedures.
• Ensure proper food handling, presentation, and temperature control.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of equipment and work areas.
• Interact with customers to resolve issues and relay information to supervisors.
• Understand and explain menu items to staff and customers.
• Manage inventory, monitor supplies, and report low stock.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
