Job summary

The Chatham Inn, part of Relais & Châteaux and Forbes Five-Star, seeks a highly skilled Sous Chef to join our culinary team. You will oversee kitchen operations alongside the Executive Chef, bringing expertise in fine dining, banquet service, and team leadership to ensure exceptional cuisine and service.

Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in high-end dining, strong food production knowledge, and a proven track record in kitchen leadership, menu planning, and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in fine dining establishments, banquet services, or catering environments.
• Supervising experience with leadership skills in a culinary setting.
• Strong background in food production, kitchen management, and food safety protocols.
• Knowledge of menu planning, inventory management, and food handling procedures.
• Experience in restaurant or hospitality management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the Executive Chef in daily kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, and efficiency.
• Collaborate with Corporate Chef & F&B teams to uphold culinary standards and operational excellence.
