Job summary

Unidine, an industry-leading hospitality food service group and a member of Compass Group USA, is seeking a Sous Chef to oversee culinary functions and support the food program.

You will assist in planning, ordering, inventory, and production, while ensuring adherence to client culture, health regulations, and our standards of quality, freshness, and presentation.

The role emphasizes coaching back-of-house teams, menu development, cost controls, and delivering memorable guest experiences.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant culinary experience including 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, healthcare, or related food service operations.
• Knowledge of current food and industry trends, quality standards, sanitation, and food cost controls.
• Ability to set up and distribute production sheets.
• Supervisory, leadership, training, management, and coaching skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and participate in the preparation and cooking of various food items.
• Plan and create menus.
• Roll out new culinary programs with marketing and culinary teams.
• Manage cost controls and monitor expenditures.
