Job summary

Brock & Company Inc. is seeking a Sous Chef for Corporate Dining, offering a full-time schedule from Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

This role supports unit management in cooking and service of hot and cold foods, with opportunities to lead a kitchen team and contribute to expanding culinary programs. You will prepare chef-inspired dishes, assist with kitchen operations, and participate in purchasing, inventory and training.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow recipes and production orders.
• Experience in banquet or catering production preferred.
• Commitment to health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Positive attitude and reliability.
• Ability to lift and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• The production, preparation and cooking of foods including soups, sauces, salads, entrees and catering.
• Station setup before service with equipment and food as directed.
• Assist management with purchasing, inventory control and training.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area per health and safety regulations.
• Provide exemplary customer service in a courteous manner.
