Job summary

Brock & Company, Inc. is seeking a Corporate Dining Cook to join our team. The role involves preparing, cooking and serving a variety of meals with opportunities to perform light administrative tasks using basic computer and tablet skills.

This is a full-time position with benefits, and a Monday–Friday schedule from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. You will work with a supportive team within a program that emphasizes healthy, nutritious menus and quality service.

Qualifications

• Comprehension of verbal and written food recipes, production orders, cooking instructions and techniques for daily menus.
• Follow health and safety regulations and personal hygiene requirements.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to move objects up to 35 lbs. to waist height.
• Adhere to COVID-19 workplace safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• The production, preparation and cooking of foods including soups, sauces, salads, entrees, catering and other items as directed by the Chef Manager.
• Perform light administrative duties using a computer and tablet as needed.
• Station set-up prior to service with appropriate equipment and food as determined by supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area per health, safety and food handling regulations.
• Provide courteous customer service at all times.
