About The Good King Tavern

The Good King Tavern has serviced the Bella Vista neighborhood since 2013, offering a fun, innovative, French-inspired menu with a best-in-class beverage program. In 2019, father-daughter duo Bernard & Chloe Grigri expanded vertically to open their James Beard-nominated upstairs wine bar, le Caveau. Today, the group is run by family and long-time employees, under the culinary direction of Chef Michael Valent. The kitchen supports not only building operations but also Superfolie at 16th & Spruce, as well as a new project opening in South Philly early 2025.
