Responsibilities:

  • Manage BOH shifts, ensuring efficient operations including food prep, cooking, inventory, and supervising kitchen staff
  • Lead pre-shift meetings, conduct line, temp, cooler checks, and food tastings
  • Collaborate with GM and managers to review and maintain recipes
  • Perform regular quality checks on menu items
  • Order food and supplies, track food costs
  • Communicate effectively between FOH and BOH teams
  • Hire, onboard, train, and develop BOH staff in partnership with management
  • Promote teamwork and handle challenges with tact and courtesy
  • Work various shifts, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and travel as needed
  • Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of sous chef experience in a full-service restaurant
  • Strong leadership and management skills

Salary Range: USD $55,000 - $75,000 per year
