Job summary

Serco is seeking a Sourcing Recruiter to identify and engage high-quality talent supporting government programs. You will focus on proactive sourcing, market research, talent mapping, and pipeline development across Serco’s business areas.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in dedicated sourcing roles, excels at building passive networks, and uses advanced Boolean search to create diverse pipelines. This role requires US citizenship and may involve up to 10% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Minimum 5 years in dedicated sourcing role for government contracts.
• Experience using CRM platforms to build and nurture talent pipelines.
• Advanced Boolean search, talent mapping, outreach, and networking skills.
• Ability to manage multiple sourcing priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% for job fairs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for high-volume, hard-to-fill roles across Serco’s business areas.
• Identify and engage passive candidates through networks, search engines, job boards, and talent communities.
• Use Boolean search, research, and talent mapping to build qualified pipelines.
• Partner with recruiters and stakeholders to define position requirements and sourcing plans.
• Conduct initial outreach and qualification conversations to assess fit and availability.
• Maintain diverse talent pipelines for current openings and anticipated needs.
• Develop personalized campaigns communicating Serco’s opportunities and EVP.
• Track activity and pipeline metrics using recruiting tools and reporting.
• Maintain accurate candidate records in ATS and related platforms.
• Provide market insights and sourcing recommendations to leadership.
• Support sourcing initiatives for cleared, technical, and veteran populations.
• Represent Serco professionally and ensure a positive candidate experience.
• Stay current on sourcing tech, labor trends, and employment requirements.
