United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Sourcing Manager for PCB/PCBA (STARSHIELD) in Hawthorne, CA. You will own demand planning and strategic sourcing for hardware used on satellites, balancing cost, quality, and lead times.

This role sits at the center of a fast-moving defense tech supply chain and requires strong procurement and leadership skills. Ideal candidates have engineering or purchasing background, experience with PCB/PCBA components, and a track record in supplier negotiations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in engineering, purchasing, contracts, or supply chain.
• Experience with PCB/PCBA or electrical components.
• Technical procurement or planning experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop sourcing and cost management strategies with key suppliers.
• Aggregate demand for hardware to enable accurate demand signals.
• Act as the supplier interface for RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs.
• Lead RFX processes and implement sourcing decisions.
• Manage costs to meet project budgets and forecasts.
• Develop should-cost models for cost analysis.
• Ensure prototype builds and mass production readiness with suppliers.
• Drive cost-saving programs and supplier performance improvements.
• Present value propositions to executives on contracts and cost issues.
• Maintain strong supplier partnerships and analytics for performance.
