Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Supplier Development Engineer for the STARSHIELD program to own PCB/PCBA supply continuity and supplier quality. You will partner with design, R&D, and production to source, qualify, and manage suppliers, implementing PPAP and quality controls to meet aggressive mission timelines.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, PCB/microelectronics experience, and the ability to travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
• Experience with PCBs, laminates, electrochemical processes, or microelectronics fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Own continuity of supply for PCBs and components.
• Collaborate with design, R&D, and supply chain to deliver world-class products.
• Identify, audit, and onboard new suppliers.
• Develop and implement supplier technical requirements and quality flow downs.
• Lead PPAP activities with suppliers to enable rate production.
• Drive supplier quality improvements and cost reductions.
