Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC in Hawthorne, CA, is seeking a Global Sourcing Manager to lead demand planning and hardware sourcing for Starshield satellite production. You will influence suppliers on cost, quality, and speed, coordinating procurement, planning, and supplier development across a fast-moving program.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years in supply chain or related fields, or an advanced degree with 4+ years, or 10+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years in supply chain, production, or engineering; or advanced degree and 4+ years of experience; or 10+ years in lieu of a degree.
• Experience with PCB/PCBA or electrical components is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing and cost management strategies with key suppliers.
• Aggregate demand for hardware to enable accurate demand signals and rate production.
• Manage RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs and run the RFX process to inform sourcing decisions.
• Drive cost reduction, build should-cost models, and support prototype to mass production ramp.
• Present value propositions to executives and maintain supplier partnerships.
