Full-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 12:00pm - 8:00pm

OVERVIEW

Find your future at Fastenal! Our distribution center is hiring energetic, team oriented individuals to work in our fast pace warehouse! Working as Full-time Sortation Lead, you will lead the day-to-day operations of the Sortation department. You will help facilitate the movement of product throughout the distribution center to company owned branches. You will organize all outgoing orders by placing packages into the correct shipping containers to prepare for shipment. You will provide guidance to ensure operations are completed correctly, efficiently and on time. RESPONSIBILITIES

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:

• 18 years of age or older

• Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency

• Lift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 100lbs
• Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)

PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• Prior experience operating a forklift
• Previous sortation experience
• Prior leadership experience
