OVERVIEW

Find your future at Fastenal! Our distribution center is hiring energetic, team oriented individuals to work in our fast pace warehouse! Working as Full-time Picking Lead, you will lead the day-to-day operations of the Picking department. When an order is placed by a branch, you will pick the requested quantity, pack the order, print a label with a routing number and send the product to the next department, Sortation. You will provide guidance to ensure operations are completed correctly, efficiently and on time. REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• 18 years of age or older
• Proficient written and oral communication skills
• Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite
• Lead and motivate a team of employees

• Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency
• Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented
• Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills
• Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment

• Lift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 100lbs

• Prior experience operating a forklift
