Job summary

Marquette University is seeking a Sorority & Fraternity Life (SFL) Coordinator to advise student organizations, develop leadership programs, and oversee operations within the Office of Student Engagement. The role supports university mission and Jesuit values, coordinating workshops, budgets, and events with campus partners.

You will lead initiatives that promote belonging, student learning, and risk management, while supervising student staff and ensuring compliance with university policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Higher Education, College Student Personnel, Student Affairs, Educational Leadership, or a related field
• A minimum of one year of related experience in a student affairs staff position or two years of experience in a graduate assistantship
• Familiarity with Sorority and Fraternity Life in higher ed settings
• Demonstrated experience advising students/student organizations, planning and implementing programs and events, interpreting and applying policies
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment with a focus on continuous improvement
• Strong oral and written communication and facilitation skills

Responsibilities

• Advises all councils represented at Marquette University and coordinates membership intake efforts
• Develops and implements programming initiatives to promote wellbeing, belonging, and leadership
• Manages software and records for sorority/fraternity operations and recruitment
• Generates reports and communicates with headquarters and campus stakeholders
• Supervises graduate and undergraduate student employees and supports performance evaluations
• Supports the Office of Student Engagement Services and collaborates with other departments
