Marist University seeks an Assistant Director for Fraternity and Sorority Life to provide strategic direction, leadership, and operational support for the Greek community and student activities. The position focuses on advising governing councils, developing leadership opportunities, coordinating recruitment and chapter events, and partnering with campus standards to support student success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• 1 - 3 years of related experience preferred (or related).
• Master's degree preferred for higher-level responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Advises Fraternity and Sorority Life governing councils and chapter leaders.
• Develops leadership development workshops, retreats, and training.
• Oversees recruitment, membership intake, and chapter event planning with risk management.
• Collaborates with campus partners to address behavioral concerns and conduct standards.
• Maintains records for membership rosters, academic reports, and assessments.
• Liaises with national and local headquarters, alumni, and advisors.
