Job summary

Marquette University is seeking a Sorority & Fraternity Life (SFL) Coordinator to advise student councils, lead programming initiatives, and manage records for fraternity life. The role collaborates with the Office of Student Engagement to promote leadership, well-being, and inclusion in line with Jesuit values.

The incumbent will supervise student staff, coordinate recruitment and education programs, and prepare reports on learning outcomes and membership trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Higher Education, College Student Personnel, Student Affairs, Educational Leadership, or a related field.
• A minimum of one year of related experience in a student affairs staff position or two years of graduate assistantship.
• Familiarity and experience with Sorority and Fraternity Life in higher ed settings.
• Demonstrated experience advising students/student organizations, planning and implementing programs and events, interpreting and applying policies, collaborating with students, faculty, staff, and external stakeholders.
• Ability to perform independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Strong oral and written communication and facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Advise councils represented at Marquette University and support chapter coaching and membership intake.
• Develop and implement programming initiatives for student engagement and leadership development.
• Manage software and records for sorority/fraternity operations and ensure data accuracy.
• Generate reports on community efforts, outcomes, recruitment, and member experience.
• Supervise graduate and undergraduate student employees and provide ongoing feedback.
• Collaborate with the Office of Student Engagement and other departments to ensure compliance and effective programs.
