Job summary

Universal Orlando Resort seeks a Documentation Specialist to design, write, proofread, and edit internal SOPs and GOPs in alignment with UO standards. You will support Ride & Show teams with SOPs/GOPs and help develop, implement, and update training materials across job plans, eLearning, video, PowerPoint, and supporting documents.

Responsibilities include maintaining the Technical Services Knowledge Center, creating new documents, updating existing files, and auditing for accuracy.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in education, journalism, or English
• 1+ year understanding technical terminology and ability to identify materials using prints and manuals
• 1+ year of experience in position requiring compliance with written, technically oriented procedures or documentation
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

• Designs, writes, proofs, and edits internal documents for clarity and accuracy per standards
• Reads and interprets technical and procedural documentation for SOPs and GOPs
• Maintains the Knowledge Center, creates new documents and updates existing ones
• Coordinates media for training content across formats (print, video, eLearning)
• Coordinates in-person and virtual training classes in SuccessFactors
• Works with management to obtain approvals and gather media for training documentation
