Ascension Health is seeking a skilled Sonographer specializing in Maternal Fetal Medicine at St. Joseph Hospital in Milwaukee, WI. The role focuses on comprehensive prenatal ultrasound assessments, anomaly screening, and invasive-procedure support under MFM physicians.
The position requires ARDMS certifications in Obstetrics & Gynecology, fetal echocardiography within 24 months, and BLS within 30 days. Schedule is full-time, day shift, with strong health and retirement benefits.

Perform routine, comprehensive anatomy examinations, biophysical profiles, growth assessments, transvaginal cervical length evaluations, and fetal echocardiography.
Screen for first-trimester chromosomal and structural anomalies, exercising judgment to adhere to safety standards during high-risk scans.
Assist MFM physicians with ultrasound guidance during invasive proceduresâincluding amniocentesis, CVS biopsies, and fetal blood transfusionsâwhile educating patients on procedures.
Prepare examination reports and communicate clinical data and ultrasound findings directly to supervising Maternal Fetal Medicine physicians.
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Medical Sonographer specializing in Obstetrics & Gynecology credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Credentialed in Fetal Echocardiography from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) within 24 months of hire date or job transfer date.
36 hours a week | Between M-F | No weekends or holidays
Prior experience in Maternal Fetal Medicine highly prioritized
