Job summary

AdventHealth in Tampa, FL is seeking a QA/Ultrasound Specialist to generate and analyze QA reports for OB/MFM services. You will monitor study performance, audit imaging for accuracy, and communicate opportunities for improvement to leadership.

The role requires ARRT and RDMS certification, strong documentation, and teamwork with physicians and technologists. Full-time daytime shift, eligible for comprehensive benefits from day one, with extensive professional development and well-being

Job Description:

• Generate, analyze, and distribute quality assurance (QA) and quality control reports for Obstetric and Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) ultrasound services.
• Monitor ultrasound study performance metrics to ensure compliance with departmental, organizational, and accreditation standards.
• Conduct routine audits of OB and MFM imaging studies to verify completeness, accuracy, documentation quality, and adherence to established protocols.
• Identify variances, trends, and opportunities for improvement in imaging quality and workflow processes; communicate findings to leadership and providers.
• Collaborate with physicians, sonographers, and clinical staff to support standardization of imaging practices and consistency across all OB/MFM studies.
• Maintain quality databases, tracking systems, and performance dashboards to support ongoing quality improvement initiatives.

• Provide sonographic assistance for procedures (chorionic villus sampling, amniocentesis, cerclage) [Required]

Education:

• High School Grad or Equiv [Required]
• Associate [Preferred]

Field of Study:

• Graduation from a school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography

Work Experience:

• 3+ experience in OB/GYN sonography. [Required]
• Vascular experience as approved by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in OB/Gyn. [Required]
