Job summary

Women's Care in Lake Mary, FL is seeking a Sonographer to perform ultrasound exams, including routine and specialized procedures, and document findings in the EMR.

Requires OB/GYN ARDMS certification, Nuchal Translucency certification or within 90 days, and 1–2 years OB/GYN or MFM experience; 3D-4D scans preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold OB/GYN ARDMS certification and Nuchal Translucency certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of recent OB/GYN or MFM experience; 3D-4D scans preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively and deliver compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound examinations and record findings.
• Conduct routine and specialized ultrasound procedures as directed.
• Perform nuchal translucency scans and fetal surveys.
• Capture 3D-4D scans and evaluate image quality.
• Document data in the EMR and maintain HIPAA compliance.
• Represent clinic professionally and collaborate with team.

• The Sonographer performs ultrasound examinations and records the findings.
• This includes routine ultrasound exams, as well as specialized procedures as directed.
• Performs nuchal translucency scans per established standards and guidelines.
• Completes fetal surveys.
• Performs hysterosonograms, as well as 3D-4D scans.
• Evaluates the images for their quality, but also interprets what was captured in the image.
• Documents/updates information in patient’s electronic medical record.
• Represents clinic in a professional manner.
• Treats all customers, internal and external, in a courteous and cooperative manner.
• Attends required meetings and participates in team activities and professional development activities.
• Demonstrates and embodies the Women’s Care mission and core values.
• Compliance with all HIPAA rules, regulations, and guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Must be dependable, reliable, and punctual.
