Job summary

Women's Care in Tampa, FL is seeking an experienced Sonographer to perform ultrasound examinations, including nuchal translucency, fetal surveys, and 3D-4D scans. You will document findings in the EMR and ensure high-quality imaging.

Required: OB/GYN ARDMS certification and a minimum of 2 years' OB/GYN experience, plus excellent bedside manner and communication with patients and staff. This is a full-time role with competitive benefits and a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• OB/GYN ARDMS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasound examinations and records findings.

• Evaluates image quality and interprets results.
• Documents information in EMR (eCW a plus).
• Represents clinic professionally and adheres to HIPAA rules.

The Sonographer performs ultrasound examinations and records the findings. This includes routine ultrasound exams, as well as specialized procedures as directed.

• Performs nuchal translucency scans per established standards and guidelines.
• Completes fetal surveys.
• Performs hysterosonograms, as well as 3D-4D scans.
• Evaluates the images for their quality, but also interprets what was captured in the image.
• Documents/updates information in patient’s electronic medical record.
• Represents clinic in a professional manner. Treats all customers, internal and external, in a courteous and cooperative manner.
• Attends required meetings and participates in team activities and professional development activities.
• Demonstrates and embodies the Women’s Care mission and core values.
• Compliance with all HIPAA rules, regulations, and guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.
