Job summary

Women's Care in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Sonographer to perform ultrasound exams, including routine and specialized procedures such as 3D-4D scans and nuchal translucency, with fetal surveys as part of patient care.

The role requires OB/GYN ARDMS certification and a minimum of 2 years' OB/GYN experience, strong bedside manner, and EMR documentation. You will work Monday–Friday, with opportunities for growth within the organization.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Completes fetal surveys and evaluates image quality.
• Documents/updates findings in the patient EMR (eCW a plus).
• Represents clinic professionally and maintains HIPAA compliance.
• Attends meetings and participates in team activities and professional development.

The Sonographer performs ultrasound examinations and records the findings. This includes routine ultrasound exams, as well as specialized procedures as directed.

• Performs nuchal translucency scans per established standards and guidelines.


• Completes fetal surveys.


• Performs hysterosonograms, as well as 3D-4D scans.


• Evaluates the images for their quality, but also interprets what was captured in the image.


• Documents/updates information in patient’s electronic medical record.


• Represents clinic in a professional manner. Treats all customers, internal and external, in a courteous and cooperative manner.


• Attends required meetings and participates in team activities and professional development activities.


• Demonstrates and embodies the Women’s Care mission and core values.


• Compliance with all HIPAA rules, regulations, and guidelines.


• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.


• Valid OB/GYN ARDMS certification.


• Minimum of 2 years of recent OBGYN experience.


• Experience with 3D-4D scans.


• Excellent bedside manner and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to multi-task in a stressful, deadline-oriented environment.


• Ability to communicate with coworkers, providers and patients in a courteous and effective manner.


• Ability to use a computer and enter data in electronic medical record system, eCW a plus.


• Must be dependable, reliable, and punctual.
