Job summary

Women’s Care is seeking a part-time Sonographer in Clearwater, FL. The candidate will perform ultrasound examinations, including routine and specialized procedures, while documenting findings in the EMR and upholding professional standards.

Qualifications

• ARDMS OB/GYN certification is required.
• Minimum 1–2 years of OB/GYN or MFM ultrasound experience.
• Experience with 3D-4D scans.
• Excellent bedside manner and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in documenting in electronic medical records (eCW a plus).

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound examinations and record findings.
• Complete fetal surveys and specialized procedures per standards.
• Perform nuchal translucency and 3D-4D scans.
• Evaluate image quality and interpret captured images.
• Document/update information in the EMR.
• Represent clinic professionally and participate in team activities.

Today, our organization has grown to over 100 locations in numerous states by remaining true to its mission of improving the health and lives of our patients every day.The Sonographer performs ultrasound examinations and records the findings. This includes routine ultrasound exams, as well as specialized procedures as directed. This is a part-time, benefitted position that will be working 32 hours per week: Monday-Thursday and two Friday mornings per month.Performs nuchal translucency scans per established standards and guidelines.Completes fetal surveys.Performs hysterosonograms, as well as 3D-4D scans.Evaluates the images for their quality, but also interprets what was captured in the image.Documents/updates information in patient’s electronic medical record.Represents clinic in a professional manner.
