Job summary

Women’s Care is seeking a skilled Sonographer for our Maternal Fetal Medicine clinic. The role performs routine and specialized ultrasound exams, including nuchal translucency and fetal echo, with 3D-4D capabilities.

You will document findings in the EMR and support providers in a fast-paced, HIPAA-compliant environment. Requirements include ARDMS OBGYN, Nuchal Translucency, and Fetal Echo certifications, plus 1–2 years of MFM experience.

Qualifications

• Requires ARDMS certification with OBGYN specialty.
• Nuchal translucency certification required.
• Fetal Echo certification or ability to obtain within 1 year.
• 1–2 years MFM experience required.
• Experience with 3D-4D scans.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound exams in the MFM clinic, including routine and specialized procedures.
• Carry out nuchal translucency scans per established standards and guidelines.
• Complete detailed fetal surveys and fetal echocardiography as directed.
• Document findings and update the patient EMR; maintain HIPAA compliance.
• Assist providers with procedures and represent the clinic professionally.

Today, our organization has grown to over 100 locations in numerous states by remaining true to its mission of improving the health and lives of our patients every day.The Sonographer for our MFM (Maternal Fetal Medicine) clinic performs ultrasound examinations and records the findings. This includes routine ultrasound exams, as well as specialized procedures as directed.Performs nuchal translucency scans per established standards and guidelines.Completes detailed fetal surveys and Fetal Echo exams.Performs fetal doppler when appropriate.Performs biophysical profile exams.Performs 3D-4D scans.Performs transvaginal sonography.Evaluates the images for their quality, but also interprets what was captured in the image.Assists providers with Amniocentesis and CVS procedure.Documents/updates information in patient’s electronic medical record.Represents clinic in a professional manner.
