Bassett Healthcare Network is seeking a Sonographer I in New York to perform multi-specialty ultrasound examinations and provide high-quality care under supervision.

You will operate sonographic equipment, manage the work area, participate in QA, and pursue continuing education to advance knowledge in the field.

On-call shifts may be required; ARDMS or RVT registration within 2 years of hire and BLS certification are required.

Qualifikationen

• Completion of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) or Vascular Technology education.
• Experience in general ultrasound, vascular or echocardiography preferred.
• ARDMS or RVT registration within 2 years of hire and board specialty registrations.

Aufgaben

• Perform ultrasound examinations per departmental procedures and communicate results.
• Operate and maintain sonography equipment and QA processes.
• Manage patient scheduling, safety, and documentation in EMR/PACS.
• On-call shifts may be required per location and staffing protocols.
• Collaborate with radiologists and staff to ensure quality patient care.
