Job summary

jacksonhospital is seeking a Cardiovascular Technician to perform Echocardiograms and support documentation to speed physician interpretations and billing processes. This full-time role operates on day shifts with rotation of on-call duties.

Ideal candidates will have a Cardiovascular Technology program background, 1 year of cardiovascular experience, and certifications such as Cardiographic Technician or ARDMS/CCI components within a year of hire. BCLS required within 6 months; ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a Cardiovascular Technology program.
• One year experience preferred in cardiovascular technology.
• Certification as Cardiographic Technician or equivalent preferred.
• Successful completion of CCI Cardiovascular Science or ARDMS component exams within one year of hire.
• BCLS certification required within 6 months; ACLS preferred.

One year experience working in the field of cardiovascular technology preferred and Certification as a Cardiographic Technician or equivalent experience preferred. Successful completion of the CCI Cardiovascular Science or either component exam of the ARDMS registry (physics or clinical) within one year of hire. BCLS certification required within 6 months of hire. ACLS certification preferred.
