Job summary

Jackson Hospital in Montgomery, AL seeks a Cardiovascular Technician to perform Echocardiograms and help coordinate documentation for timely physician interpretations and billing.

Graduates of Cardiovascular Technology programs are encouraged to apply. One year of cardiovascular tech experience is preferred. Certification as a Cardiographic Technician or equivalent, ARDMS/CCI exams within one year of hire, and BLS within 6 months are expected; ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

Graduation from a program of Cardiovascular Technology. One year experience working in the field of cardiovascular technology preferred and Certification as a Cardiographic Technician or equivalent experience preferred. Successful completion of the CCI Cardiovascular Science or either component exam of the ARDMS registry (physics or clinical) within one year of hire. BCLS certification required within 6 months of hire. ACLS certification preferred.
