AdventHealth's AHMG Cardiology at Innovation Tower in Orlando, FL is seeking a Cardiovascular Sonographer to perform echocardiograms and vascular studies for diagnostic evaluation. The role requires obtaining views, inputting patient history, and maintaining accurate records.

Day shifts, full-time schedule, with a $5k sign-on bonus. Qualifications include RDCS/RVT/RCS/RVS and BLS, with 1+ year of relevant experience preferred.

Qualifications

• RDCS, RVT, RCS, or RVS required
• BLS certified required
• 1+ year relevant echocardiography experience preferred
• Associate's degree preferred in cardiovascular sonography

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiograms and vascular studies for diagnostic evaluation.
• Obtain views and input patient history and data.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and verify orders.
• Ensure proper patient identifiers and safety procedures are followed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Description:

AHMG Cardiology at Innovation Tower

265 E. Rollins St., Orlando, FL 32804

Monday - Thursday 7am - 5:30pm

$5k sign on bonus

• Obtains a complete and current history of the patient and the reason for the exam.
• Performs quality echocardiogram and vascular studies for adequate diagnostic evaluation by the reading physicians.
• Obtains all views required for processing.
• Inputs notes and history at the completion of the exam.
• Inputs data at the completion of the exam.
• Maintains a clean and organized work environment.
• Checks practitioner orders for accuracy and clarify with offices, floors, or physicians as needed.
• Notifies the floor if the patient has had an echocardiogram within the past six months.
• Utilizes all safety measures provided for the department and individual technologists.
• Always uses two types of patient identifiers, such as name and date of birth.
• Assures proper positioning, technique, and protocol for each exam.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• 1+ relevant experience [Preferred]

Licenses and Certifications:

• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) [Required] OR Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) [Required] OR Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) [Required] OR Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) [Required]
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
