Job summary

Essentia Health Virginia Hospital in Virginia, MN seeks an Ultrasound Technologist to join the diagnostic ultrasound team. You will provide diagnostic ultrasound scans for physician diagnosis using ultrasound equipment and your clinical skills.

You must graduate from a CAHEA-accredited sonography program with ARDMS registry eligibility; hold ARDMS within 1 year, and achieve abdomen, OB/GYN and vascular certs within 24 months (MSK cert if in specific dept).

Qualifications

• Graduation from a CAHEA accredited program in sonography.
• ARDMS registry eligible by ARDMS.
• Must maintain ARDMS certification within stated timeframes.

Responsibilities

Education Qualifications:

Graduation from a Committee on Allied Health Education (CAHEA) accredited program in sonography and registry eligible by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).

Licensure/CertificationQualifications:

• Registered by the ARDMS within 1 year of hire.
• Must be certified in Abdomen, OB/GYN, and Vascular within 24 months of hire date. Those staff assigned to work in the Ashland location are not required to obtain Vascular certification.
• If working in Department 2010-2042320 MSK Ultrasound - SMDC HOSP, must complete ARDMS MSK Certification within 24 months.
