Essentia Health is hiring for ultrasound technologist at the Virginia Hospital location. You will perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations, prepare reports, and support physicians with image quality and patient care.

The role requires ARDMS eligibility and CAHEA-accredited training, with certification goals in abdomen, OB/GYN, and vascular within set timeframes. This position offers day/evening/night rotations, with standard hospital benefits and opportunities for professional development

Qualifications

• Graduation from CAHEA-accredited program in sonography.
• ARDMS registry eligible by hire.
• Registered by ARDMS within 1 year of hire.
• Certified in Abdomen, OB/GYN, and Vascular within 24 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic ultrasound scans for physician diagnosis.
• Operate diagnostic ultrasound equipment with appropriate technical knowledge.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during examinations.
