Job summary

Essentia Health Virginia Hospital in Virginia, MN is seeking a Diagnostic Ultrasound Technologist to perform ultrasound exams for physician diagnosis using advanced equipment.

Applicants should graduate from a CAHEA-accredited sonography program with ARDMS registry eligibility; must obtain ARDMS within 12 months and achieve Abdomen, OB/GYN, and Vascular credentials within 24 months. The position offers a rotating Day/Eve/Night schedule, weekend call, and a possible remote/hybrid option.

Responsibilities

Provide diagnostic ultrasound scans of patients for physician diagnosis, utilizing diagnostic ultrasound equipment and appropriate technical knowledge and skills.

Work Experience Preferred: 2 - Years Clinical Experience

Education Qualifications: Graduation from a Committee on Allied Health Education (CAHEA) accredited program in sonography and registry eligible by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).

Licensure/Certification Qualifications: Registered by the ARDMS within 1 year of hire. East Market : Must be certified in Abdomen, OB/GYN, and Vascular within 24 months of hire date.
