VIP Medical Group seeks a Certified Medical Sonographer to perform venous duplex ultrasounds and related procedures at Arlington and Waxahachie clinics.

The role emphasizes patient care, HIPAA compliance, EMR documentation, and collaboration with the health care team. An associates degree is required; RVT/RVS preferred; one year of experience is preferred.

Qualificações

• Associates degree in Medical Sonography.
• Minimum of one year of experience as a Medical Sonography.
• Experience with EMR systems.
• Lower extremity/vascular knowledge preferred.
• Certification: Certified Medical Sonographer.
• RVT or RVS preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform diagnostic venous duplex ultrasound scans, rule out DVT scans, and post procedure scans.
• Prepare exam room and ultrasound equipment to conduct sonography exams in accordance with patient safety protocols, policies, and procedures.
• Medical intakes.
• Enter medical notes in our EMR system.
• Use sterile technique for procedure set up and prep patients for procedures.
• Assist during procedures.
• Maintain patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA.
• Properly care for Ultrasound equipment and notifies the office if there are any issues.
• Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with co-workers and members of the health care team.
