Job summary

VIP Medical Group is seeking a skilled Medical Sonographer to join our vein and pain treatment teams at Arlington and Waxahachie locations. You will perform diagnostic venous duplex ultrasound scans, prepare exam rooms, enter notes in EMR, and maintain patient privacy.

Requirements include an Associate degree in Medical Sonography, and a Certified Medical Sonographer credential; RVT/RVS preferred. We offer health insurance and paid leave benefits.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Medical Sonography is required.
• Certified Medical Sonographer credential preferred.
• RVT or RVS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic venous duplex ultrasound scans, rule out DVT scans, and post procedure scans.
• Prepare exam room and ultrasound equipment to conduct sonography exams in accordance with patient safety protocols, policies, and procedures.
• Medical intakes.
• Enter medical notes in our EMR system.
• Use sterile technique for procedure set up and prep patients for procedures.
• Maintain patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA.
• Properly care for Ultrasound equipment and notifies the office if there are any issues.
• Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with co-workers and members of the health care team.
