Job summary

HTU is seeking an ultrasound technologist to perform advanced imaging, operate equipment, and deliver patient-centered care in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Candidates should have graduation from a sonography program with clinical hours, relevant certifications, BLS, and the ability to work collaboratively while maintaining the highest safety standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of Sonography with clinical hours
• ARDMS (RVT) or CCI (RVS) or ARRT (RVS) AND ARDMS (RDCS) or CCI (RCS) or registry eligible (must obtain registry within 6 months of eligibility)
• BLS certification required or in process

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

• Performing advanced ultrasound imaging procedures to assist in diagnosing and monitoring medical conditions.
• Operating ultrasound equipment with technical expertise to produce accurate, high-quality diagnostic images.
• Providing patient care and ensuring comfort during procedures.
• Collaborating and communicating effectively with patients and healthcare professionals to deliver optimal care.

About You

The company is looking for candidates with the following qualifications and skills:

• Graduate of a school of Sonography with completed clinical hours or on-the-job training by a registered Cardiac ultrasound Preceptor.
• No prior experience required.
• State licensure may be required depending on practice location.
• Certification: ARDMS (RVT) or CCI (RVS) or ARRT (RVS) AND ARDMS (RDCS) or CCI (RCS) or registry eligible (must obtain registry within 6 months of eligibility).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Knowledge in producing diagnostic images and recognizing technical abnormalities.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Knowledge of protocols, safe machine operation, emergency procedures, and radiation safety.
• Flexibility to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
• Physical ability to push, pull, or lift up to 50 lbs regularly; prolonged standing and walking; ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat.
