Job summary

HTU is seeking a skilled ultrasound technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging focused on blood vessels and related conditions. You will operate ultrasound equipment safely, follow protocols, and communicate clearly with patients to ensure comfort and accuracy.

You will collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient care, handle fast-paced situations, and maintain strict safety standards, including radiation safety and emergency procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Sonography program with clinical hours
• ARDMS RVT / CCI RVS / ARRT RVS eligibility within 6 months
• BLS certification required
• Proficient in producing diagnostic images and recognizing abnormalities
• Knowledge of machine emergency procedures and radiation safety
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

• Performing high-quality diagnostic imaging using ultrasound equipment to assess blood vessels and related conditions.
• Operating ultrasound machines safely and properly, recognizing technical abnormalities.
• Following protocols and making necessary adjustments during imaging procedures.
• Providing patient care with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Collaborating effectively with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.

About You

The company is looking for candidates with the following qualifications and skills:

• Graduate of a school of Sonography with completed clinical hours or on-the-job training by a Preceptor registered in Cardiac ultrasound.
• No prior experience required.
• State licensure may be required depending on practice location.
• Certification or registry eligible in ARDMS (RVT), CCI (RVS), or ARRT (RVS); registry must be obtained within 6 months of eligibility.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Proficient knowledge in producing diagnostic images and recognizing technical abnormalities.
• Knowledge of machine emergency procedures and radiation safety.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Physical ability to push, pull, or lift 50 lbs regularly, stand and walk for prolonged periods, and perform movements such as gripping, reaching, bending, kneeling, twisting, and squatting.
