Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking an engineer for the ICP program Test Team at the Manassas campus. You will validate system performance, AI/ML results, and develop tests to support Navy hardware and software solutions, ensuring readiness for production and field deployment.

You will create data sets, write test procedures, validate requirements, and coordinate with the Government Test Team. Occasional travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in related STEM discipline; 2+ years of related experience or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated ability to test/verify system operations.
• Demonstrated ability to follow procedures to operate and test tactical systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve computer equipment.
• Demonstrated problem solving abilities.
• Familiarity with Linux.

Responsibilities

• Validating system performance and capabilities for production and advanced development.
• Validating AI/ML algorithm results – reviewing system outputs and labeling false alerts on live data sets.
• Generating data sets for use by the team in system testing and algorithm development.
• Creating test procedures.
• Validating system requirements.
• Ensuring system issues are addressed.
• Guiding the software build through a successful Factory Acceptance Test.
• Working with the Government Test Team to coordinate the testing plans for the program/build.
• Maintaining the tactical system, ensuring it remains operational.
• Traveling independently to the tactical site (up to 25% of the time).
