Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Virginia Beach is seeking a Level 4 Test and Integration Engineer for an onsite, temporary role of approximately 12 to 18 months. The candidate will work at the Virginia Beach LM site and contribute to testing across Windows and Linux environments, including micro-service architectures and web UI testing.

Start date is August 17 or may be delayed by LM Talent system transition. The position is full-time and onsite at 1293 Perimeter Pkwy, Virginia Beach, VA 23454.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
• 10+ years in systems integration or test engineering, preferably defense/aerospace.
• Windows and Linux cross-Platform test execution.
• Testing micro-service architectures.
• Database validation using PostgreSQL and basic SQL knowledge.
• Frontend testing of a Web UI.

Level 4 Test and Integration Engineer - Onsite.

This is a full time in person position at the Lockheed Martin Virginia Beach site: 1293 Perimeter Pkwy, Virginia Beach, VA 23454.

This is a temporary position needed for approximately 12 - 18 months in duration.

Start date is August 17 or might be delayed a week because of the LM Talent system transition.

Key Responsibilities

• Writing and executing test plans.
• Install and configure software components.
• Coordinate with software developers, technical leads, and stakeholders to identify and troubleshoot system issues.
• Document, track, and report defects.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
• 10+ years in systems integration or test engineering, preferably within a defense or aerospace environment.
• Windows and Linux Cross-Platform test execution.
• Testing micro-service architectures.
• Database validation using PostgreSQL and basic knowledge of SQL.
• Frontend testing of a Web UI.

Preferred Skills

• CompTIA Security+ certification.
• Experience with US Navy training systems and processes.
• Knowledge of Navy and DOD modeling and simulation tools such as Joint Semi-Automated Forces (JSAF), JLVC Analysis Workstation (JAWS), and Joint Simulation Bus (JBUS).
• VMWare virtualized environment experience.
• Experience with Agile workflows using Atlassian tools including Jira and Confluence.
