Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Manassas, VA is seeking a System Integrator for the Acoustic Rapid COTS Insertion program. You will integrate and test complex submarine sonar systems.

The role requires building test bays, performing checkouts, and supporting dockside and occasional at-sea testing up to 5%. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and generate test reports to support stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of integration and test experience.
• Proficiency with Linux, network switches, and hardware components.
• Ability to troubleshoot system issues including software and hardware.
• Experience creating and executing test procedures.
• Understanding of testing equipment such as SIM/STIM.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own and be responsible for all aspects of the submarine sonar system.
• Build media and install development test and tactical production bays.
• Conduct basic build checkouts after kits are installed.
• Understand of all functions of Sonar and other subsystem such as Tactical Control (TC) and Navigation.
• Understand lab/tactical hardware and network configurations. Support setup of lab/tactical hardware Configurations.
• Integrate hardware and software components into a fully functional system.
• Utilize test equipment (SIM/STIM) to develop and execute test plans and procedures to verify system performance and functionality.
• Analyze test data to verify system performance and functionality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and troubleshoot software issues.
• Generate reports and presentations to summarize test results to internal and external stakeholders.
