Job summary

Protolabs is seeking a Manufacturing Solvent Specialist to transform additive manufactured parts from print to production-ready products through precise cleaning and preparation. You will manage chemical solutions, remove supports, and maintain a resin-free workspace while upholding Solvent Lab standards.

You will verify order quantities, report quality issues, and ensure a safe, organized lab environment in a fast-paced team setting.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Strong attention to detail and ability to focus on tasks for extended periods.
Excellent hand-eye coordination and safety consciousness.

Responsibilities

Safe cleaning and removal of resin on additive manufactured parts of varied sizes.
Follow Solvent Lab processes to clean, cure and prepare parts for finishing.
Maintain resin-free work environment by cleaning lab and disposing waste.
Count parts and verify order quantities; ensure customer specifications are met.
Report issues to Senior Solvent Specialist or Supervisor.
Use computer to review order and enter related information.
Assist in removal and disposal of contaminated materials.
Maintain cleanliness of machinery and work area; observe safety policies.
