Job summary

Protolabs is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure safe and efficient operation of production and support equipment. You will perform preventive maintenance, repairs, calibrations, and troubleshooting under supervision, coordinating downtime with supervisors and production planning.

You will collaborate with Engineering to improve reliability and design parts to enhance performance. The role requires a high school diploma and 1+ years in a similar field, with the ability to work a standard

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years in a mechanical, electrical, or related equipment maintenance role.
• Flexibility to adjust hours according to maintenance scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repair on a variety of equipment and machines.
• Carry out technical calibrations using basic measuring tools.
• Install and start up equipment following safety procedures and OSHA rules.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and assist other technicians as needed.
• Identify and implement improvements to equipment reliability and performance.
• Design and build parts to improve machine performance.
• Document maintenance activities accurately and timely.
• Continuously seek improvements in work processes and personal performance.
