Job summary

LeanTeq is seeking an Engineering Technician to support production tasks, measurement, data recording, and collaboration with engineering on DOE projects. The role involves cleanroom work and precise handling of chemicals and parts in a manufacturing setting.

The ideal candidate has a technical certificate or Associate’s degree in Chemical Technology or Chemical Process Engineering, plus hands-on lab or manufacturing experience, with a strong safety mindset and proficiency with data management

Qualifications

• Education: technical certificate or associate’s degree in a relevant field such as Chemical Technology or Chemical Process Engineering.
• Experience: hands-on experience in a laboratory or manufacturing environment, including safe use of chemicals and specialized equipment.
• Skills: adherence to safety protocols and handling delicate materials with precision.
• Work Ethic: high quality orientation and pride in producing excellent work.
• Technical Proficiency: use of computer systems for data management, process tracking and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage workflow and execute production tasks to meet or exceed customer delivery schedules.
• Take precise measurements for critical dimensions and document data and production records.
• Maintain repeatable, high-quality production processes.
• Work in a cleanroom environment to support specialty manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with engineering to support DOE and development of customer processes.
• Perform cleaning and preparation on critical parts.
• Create data summary packages for customers.
• Perform chemical preparation and waste disposal and safety initiatives.
• Comply with GMP and housekeeping, calibration/PM programs.
