Job summary

Skydio is seeking an experienced operations leader to manage the Solutions Operations team, owning the HQ demo program, aircraft, docks, and the content library. You will lead live demonstrations for VIP customers and government visitors, and onboard new Solutions Engineers and Specialists, ensuring readiness and rapid ramp for field teams.

The role spans National Security, SLED, Commercial, and the Launch Team, coordinating with Account Leaders, Engineering, Product, Customer Success, and Sales

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a technical operations or enablement role.
• Hands-on sUAS operating experience and safety judgment.
• Comfortable presenting live to senior executives and customers.
• Ability to collaborate across multiple teams and customer vocabularies.
• FAA Part 107 certificate or ability to obtain within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Run the HQ demo program and lead live demonstrations for VIP customers, partners, and government visitors.
• Own the demo environment: aircraft, docks, network, controllers, and props; ensure pre-flight discipline and readiness.
• Maintain airworthiness, batteries, firmware, and spares; coordinate scheduling and dock availability.
• Set the demo standard for the organization and ensure content and ramp programs stay consistent.
• Plan and run capture missions; produce footage, imagery, and data for company use.
• Own onboarding and enablement for Solutions Engineers and Specialists; translate releases into field knowledge.
• Build demo scripts, reference architectures, and templates from best practices; avoid parallel standards.
• Own the content library; manage versions, reviews, and retirement of stale material.
• Capture integration material to show platform capabilities and gaps to customers.
• Work across verticals to enable field teams; partner with Sales Enablement and Training.
• Represent the customer inside Skydio and provide prioritized feedback to Product/Engineering.
