Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Solutions Estimator in Ohio to bridge entry-level estimators with senior designers, preparing accurate cost estimates for medium to large-scale RFPs and complex scopes across vertical markets.

You will collaborate with sales, engineering, procurement, and project management, analyze requirements, source pricing, identify risks, and help deliver competitive proposals while aligning with Convergint’s pricing strategies.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years in estimating, project management, or system design for low voltage projects.
• Experience with large-scale RFPs, greenfield opportunities, and programmatic customer projects.
• Knowledge of vertical market requirements such as healthcare, data centers, government, education, and financial institutions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate, detailed cost estimates for medium to large-scale RFPs, greenfield projects, and complex scopes.
• Bridge the gap between entry-level estimating and senior design and estimating professionals.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, procurement, and project management to ensure estimates reflect costs, resources, and timelines.
• Source pricing from vendors, subcontractors, and partners to meet project specifications.
• Identify scope gaps, risks, and value engineering opportunities to provide innovative solutions.
