Verkada is seeking an Associate Solutions Engineering Program Director to guide and mentor a team of ASEs through their training journey. The role focuses on technical education, program management, and career growth, ensuring hands-on experience in networking, cloud, and security domains.

The position is onsite in the San Mateo office. You will partner with seasoned Solutions Engineers to embed mentorship as a core part of the program and drive ongoing program improvements for a fast-paced

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in customer-facing, pre-sales technical roles.
• Strong understanding of computer networking, cloud architecture, and security infrastructure.
• Experience in technical training or mentorship is highly desirable.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and guide early-career engineers.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with accountability and adaptability.
• Passion for technology, education, and continuous improvement.

Responsabilités

• Oversee the daily activities of the ASE training program, ensuring learning milestones in cloud infrastructure, networking, and physical security.
• Collaborate with Solutions Engineering leaders and trainers to build and refine training content.
• Provide mentorship and career development support to ASEs.
• Coordinate hands-on technical projects with Verkada’s product suite to design and implement security solutions.
• Ensure ASEs progress in communication and presentation skills for customer interfacing.
• Manage program logistics including scheduling, cohort management, travel, and tracking progress in certifications and soft skills.
• Facilitate ASE engagement with SE mentors and track mentor relationships.
• Regularly report on ASE program performance and identify areas for improvement.
