Job summary

Verkada is seeking a strong SE leader to join our St. Petersburg team and drive Select & Territory Solutions Engineering. The role focuses on building high-performing, inclusive teams and mentoring engineers through complex technical challenges onsite.

You will partner with sales, product, and support to implement scalable processes, coaching programs, and cross-functional improvements, while traveling up to 25% to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of leadership as technical presales manager
• Experience at cloud and network infrastructure company with hardware/software exposure
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
• Proven track record leading sales engineering teams
• Experience building and scaling technical pre-sales teams
• onsite in St. Petersburg, FL

Responsibilities

• Hire, develop and lead inclusive, engaged, high performing Select & Territory Solutions Engineering teams
• Technical coach, mentor, and problem solver for escalations and complex solutions
• Identify gaps, build programs and processes to support the SE team
• Work cross-functionally to improve communication across sales, product, support, enablement, marketing
• Develop and grow the team's skillset through coaching and enablement
• Travel up to 25%
