Job description

Partner with Autodesk's Americas Water Product Specialist Team to support new sales growth in our Water sector, serving as a technical resource. Your role involves translating customer business challenges into technical solutions by leveraging practical experience, extensive Water industry knowledge, and innovative thinking. Engagements will require key skills such as industry experience, strategic vision, account planning, sales process knowledge, and familiarity with Autodesk's tools and customer value delivery.

You will work remotely and report to the Head of Americas Sales (Water).

Responsibilities
  1. Evaluate customer strategies and advise on how Autodesk's Water offerings can support their goals.
  2. Serve as the primary Water technology expert within your account team, leading customer planning, engagement, and sales content development.
  3. Develop the technical business case for Autodesk Water solutions.
  4. Position Autodesk Water technology as a solution to customer business issues.
  5. Lead technical discovery to identify business needs and present findings and solutions to customers.
  6. Manage technical relationships and collaborate with internal subject matter experts to provide comprehensive knowledge to customers.
  7. Identify and cultivate advocates within accounts to influence the success of Autodesk solutions.
  8. Demonstrate expertise in Water industry and Autodesk solutions to differentiate Autodesk as a trusted partner.
  9. Collaborate with Channel Partners and Customer Success teams.
  10. Deliver compelling presentations and messaging to various stakeholder levels.
  11. Communicate Autodesk's competitive edge in the Water sector.
  12. Stay informed on industry and global trends and innovate to drive revenue growth.
  13. Provide customer feedback to influence product development and identify new business opportunities.
  14. Participate in account planning and align with decision-makers to secure technical agreement.
  15. Create and deliver proposals and demos aligned with customer needs.
  16. Articulate and sell Autodesk's Water value proposition.
  17. Quantify and justify ROI to support customer outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related field.
  • Over 5 years of experience in Water/Wastewater industry.
  • Technical expertise in Autodesk Water solutions such as InfoWorks ICM, XPSWMM, InfoSewer/SWMM, InfoWater Pro, InfoAsset Planner, and Info360 Asset, with strong wastewater tools knowledge.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% for customer visits and events.
