What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support development of image and video processing algorithm solutions for space-based infrared systems
- Perform performance analyses of algorithms in support of system-level trade studies and CONOP development
- Collaborate with embedded software and firmware teams to optimize and implement algorithms
- Develop and improve instrument documentation, processes, and test procedures
- Support integration and testing of electro-optical/infrared systems and related hardware/software

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience, or Graduate Degree with a minimum of 2 years of related experience, or 8 years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree
- Proficiency in Python programming
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience as part of a multi-discipline technical team
- Familiarity with embedded software/firmware development
- Experience with read/write of C/C++ software
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional team interactions
