Job summary

Selector AI in Santa Clara, CA is seeking a technically curious engineer to join our analytics Platform team. You will learn our operational analytics solution for networks, applications, and security workflows, support deployment at customer sites, and work alongside senior engineers to meet customer requirements.

The role requires foundational Python, SQL, and container experience, plus knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes and cloud basics.

Qualifications

• Foundational coding skills in Python; exposure to Ansible or Go is a plus
• Basic understanding of SQL queries for data extraction and analysis
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Eagerness to learn, a self-starter attitude, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 0–3 years of professional experience in a technical or engineering role
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a desire to learn in a customer-facing environment

Responsibilities

• Learn and develop technical expertise on Selector’s operational analytics solution for networks, applications, and security workflows
• Support hands-on integration and deployment of Selector’s platform to meet customer requirements, working alongside senior engineers
• Assist in deploying Selector’s solution at customer sites, including helping to understand their data, workflow, and analytics requirements
• Help ensure customers are adequately enabled for use and basic self-serve extensions of Selector’s capabilities
• Support pre-sales activities in collaboration with the sales team and senior engineers
• Contribute to the design and execution of Proof of Concept (POC) plans under the guidance of senior team members
• Document customer feedback and assist with product enhancement proposals to improve features and quality
