Hakimo seeks a Solutions Engineer - Implementations Specialist to own the post-sales journey from onboarding to go-live. You will assist with technical discovery and implementations of customer security monitoring solutions on the Hakimo AI SaaS platform, partnering with sales and customer success teams.

You will be a trusted advisor, have hands-on networking and security know-how, and join a fast-paced team delivering cutting-edge computer vision AI technology.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a solutions engineer or similar role.
• Bachelor's degree in ICT, cybersecurity, networking, IT security, or related field.
• Solid TCP/IP, UDP, TLS, DNS, DHCP, routers, switches, NAT, and VLANs knowledge.
• Understanding of IP cameras, NVRs, ONVIF, RTSP.
• SaaS and cloud experience desired.
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent account management and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Linux, virtual machines, APIs, HTTP servers, VLC.
• Familiarity with Python or shell scripting.
• Industry certifications such as CCNA or AWS is a plus.
• On-site 3 days/week with occasional travel.

Responsibilities

• Own onboarding and provisioning of Hakimo SaaS in the cloud and connect to on-prem cameras.
• Engage with technical and non-technical audiences.

About the role

Hakimo is seeking a Solutions Engineer - Implementations Specialist to own the post sales journey from onboarding to go-live. This individual will assist with technical discovery and implementations of customer’s security monitoring solutions on the Hakimo AI SaaS platform. You will be working in partnership with account execs and customer success teams, be a trusted advisor to our customers, and play a critical role in the overall customer success. A solutions engineer at Hakimo is a hands-on individual with knowledge of networking concepts and physical security. We are looking for individuals who can match our fast paced environment and learn quickly! You will join a team of highly motivated individuals delivering impactful results for the company using the latest cutting edge computer vision AI technology.

What You'll Do

• Be the technical solutions specialist who will engage with technical as well as non-technical audiences.
• Utilize your technical expertise to understand and navigate customer requirements.
• Collaborate with the Sales team to assess and qualify customer opportunities, and contribute to the design of effective technical solutions.
• Act as the technical Subject Matter Expert, collaborating closely with other departments such as Product Engineering, Customer Success, Security Operations Center.
• You will be owning the onboarding and provisioning of the Hakimo SaaS environment in the cloud and connecting it with the customer on-prem camera systems.

What You Bring

• 3+ years of experience in a solutions engineer or similar role
• Bachelor's degree in Information and Computer Technology, Cybersecurity, Networking, IT Security, Computer Engineering or related degree from an accredited university
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of TCP/IP, UDP, TLS, DNS, DHCP, Routers, Switches, NAT, VLANs and L2 devices
• Understanding about IP Cameras, NVRs, Video Resolutions, ONVIF, RTSP etc.
• Functional knowledge of SaaS and Cloud environments is desired.
• Exhibit outstanding written and verbal communication skills, along with effective presentation abilities.
• Excellent account management, follow-through, and attention to detail.
• Flexible mindset and positive attitude with a strong desire to learn.
• Experience working with IT infrastructure, Linux operating systems, Virtual Machines, APIs, HTTP Servers, VLC players etc.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Shell etc.
• Industry certifications are a plus: Network, Security, CCNA, AWS Solutions Architect, etc.
• This role requires that you be on-site 3 days a week, with occasional customer related travel.
