Job summary

Otter in Los Angeles is seeking a Solutions Engineer to manage complex technical relationships with POS providers and restaurant partners. You will lead technical deployments, escalation handling, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver reliable, scalable integrations.

Your role involves working with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Customer Success to drive improvements, automate processes, and enhance production standards.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in customer-facing technical support, technical operations, or technical account management.
• Experience managing technical projects or coordinating implementations.
• Experience with POS systems or restaurant tech is highly preferred.
• Production systems in cloud environments such as AWS or GCP.

Responsibilities

• Manage key technical relationships with external POS providers and restaurant groups across regions.
• Own merchant technical discoveries, deployments, and scalable partner engagements.
• Support Enterprise and Strategic Sales Engineering in pre-sales conversations.
• Ensure smooth integration and expansion of new technology solutions.
• Handle escalated technical requests from internal teams and high-visibility customers.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues with urgency.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Customer Success teams.
• Identify gaps, build automation, and improve tools and processes.
